HOW THE COACH TEACHES

Record. Replay. Rep.

The way good speakers train — listen back, change one thing, overdo it — turned into a daily path.

One loop, every day

  1. Learn one idea in a sentence, with a cue you can act on and an example you can hear.
  2. Record a take — read a line or answer in your own words.
  3. See your Replay: fillers, pauses, rushed and rising endings, and punched words, marked on your own transcript.
  4. Hear one fix from your coach, quoted from what you said.
  5. Take two, and overdo it. Exaggerating in practice is what makes a change stick in real life. The before and after are measured.

A rep takes about four minutes. A 60-second warm read keeps your streak on busy days.

Ten chapters

  1. The MirrorHear yourself, catch the fillers.
  2. Pause & PaceSlow down, own the silence.
  3. Volume & PunchProject and punch key words.
  4. Melody & ToneUse your whole vocal range.
  5. StructureWhat? So what? Now what?.
  6. StoryHook, detail, point.
  7. Under PressureStay calm when it counts.
  8. Say LessShort, clear, memorable.
  9. The RoomMeetings, questions, pushback.
  10. ShowtimeWarm up, open strong, finish well.

You start with a 60-second Voice Snapshot. Each chapter ends with a checkpoint: the same prompt again, side by side with your first recording.

Progress you can hear

Every take measures five things: pace, pauses, fillers, melody and punch. Each has a level from 1 to 10 that rises only when you do it consistently — the typical take over your last five, not one lucky attempt. There is no overall “confidence score”.

Informed by how speaking is taught

The path draws on widely taught ideas: record and review yourself, treat your voice as a toolbox (pace, volume, pitch, pause, tone), practise with exaggeration, lead with the point (What? So what? Now what?), tell stories for a listener, and give feedback as one strength and one change. Our exercises and wording are our own, and no coach or organisation endorses this app.

AI feedback can be wrong. Every point is tied to a moment you can replay, so you can check it.
